Designed for experienced hill walkers and those with previous scrambling experience, this challenging and rewarding day focuses on moving confidently and efficiently through complex rocky terrain while enjoying one of Eryri’s finest mountaineering routes.
The North Ridge offers an engaging journey of route choice, exposed scrambling, and technical movement, requiring good judgement and a confident approach to steep ground. Throughout the day, you’ll refine advanced scrambling techniques, improve route-finding skills, and develop a deeper understanding of mountain decision-making in a real mountain environment.
From the famous Cannon Stone to the summit’s Adam and Eve stones, this classic route delivers sustained interest, spectacular views, and a true sense of adventure. Guided by an experienced mountain leader, you’ll gain valuable insights into tackling more committing mountain objectives while enjoying one of the most celebrated ridges in the UK.
Suitable for: Experienced hill walkers with previous scrambling experience and a good level of fitness. Participants should be comfortable with exposure and sustained periods of hands-on scrambling.
